1. Description of the Service
MealRoll is an app that helps you decide what to cook or eat. It offers, among other things, the random selection of recipes ("rolling the dice"), step-by-step cooking guidance with photo verification, searching for restaurants near you, a social feed, as well as gamification elements (XP, levels, badges, collectible cards).
2. Account
For some features, you can create an account – as a guest, via email, or through a linked Google or Apple account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
3. Your Content
You remain responsible for content you create and share (photos, posts, recipes, comments). You warrant that you have the necessary rights to such content and do not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
In particular, you may not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, glorifying violence, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove such content and to suspend accounts in case of violations.
By sharing content in the public feed, you grant us the right to display it within the app.
4. Code of Conduct
You agree not to misuse the app, in particular not to:
- harass, threaten, or harm other users,
- manipulate, overload, or circumvent the app or its systems,
- use automated access (bots, scrapers) without our consent.
You can block other users and report content. Reported content will be reviewed. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
MealRoll is free to download and use. Optional paid plans unlock additional features such as ad-free use, higher AI limits and additional verified cooks per day.
5.1 Plans, length and price
The following plans are offered. Prices are always shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm a purchase; the amounts below are indicative.

5.2 Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the same price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The one-time Master purchase does not renew.
5.3 Free trial
Where a free trial is offered (currently the yearly Basic and Pro plans, 7 days), the trial converts into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, the unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
5.4 Managing and cancelling
Purchases are processed by the app store you bought through, and its terms apply in addition to these Terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → MealRoll.
- Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → MealRoll.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
5.5 Refunds
Refunds are handled by the respective store under its own rules, not by us. For Apple purchases use reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play use your order history in the Play Store.
6. Advertising
The free use of the app is partially financed through advertising. Details on data processing through advertising can be found in our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
The app is provided "as is." Recipes, nutritional information, allergen and restaurant information may contain errors and do not replace professional advice. Always check ingredients and allergens on your own responsibility. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of the app, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the settings. We may restrict or terminate access in case of violations of these terms.
9. Changes
We may occasionally update these Terms of Use. The current version will be made available in the app and at this location.
